The Monotonicity of the F-blowup Sequence of F-pure Singularities
نویسنده
چکیده
Recently the author defined a sequence of blowups for each variety in positive characteristic, called F-blowups. Our purpose is to prove that the sequence is monotone if the variety has only F-pure singularities. As a corollary, we also obtain some result on the stability of the sequence.

On Monotonicity of F-blowup Sequences
For each variety in positive characteristic, there is a series of canonically defined blowups, called F-blowups. We are interested in the question of whether the e+1-th blowup dominates the e-th, locally or globally. It is shown that the answer is affirmative (globally for any e) when the given variety is F-pure. As a corollary, we obtain some result on the stability of the sequence of F-blowup...

The future singularities are possible in a universe that is described by F(R) theory. In previous studies the occurrence of the singularities in F(R) theory have been considered by using a special function for the Hubble parameter and calculating the F(R) function for each of the singularities. Using the specified Hubble parameter causes some difficulties in the study of the second law of therm...
متن کاملEccentricity Sequence and the Eccentric Connectivity Index of Two Special Categories of Fullerenes
In this paper, we calculate the eccentric connectivity index and the eccentricity sequence of two infinite classes of fullerenes with 50 + 10k and 60 + 12k (k in N) carbon atoms.
متن کاملFrobenius Morphisms of Noncommutative Blowups
We define the Frobenius morphism of certain class of noncommutative blowups in positive characteristic. Thanks to a nice property of the class, the defined morphism is always flat. Therefore we say that the noncommutative blowups in this class are Kunz regular. One of such blowups is the one associated to a regular Galois alteration. From de Jong’s theorem, we see that for every variety over an...
متن کاملCharacterization of Radially Symmetric Finite Time Blowup in Multidimensional Aggregation Equations
This paper studies the transport of a mass μ in Rd, d ≥ 2, by a flow field v = −∇K∗μ. We focus on kernels K = |x|α/α for 2 − d ≤ α < 2 for which the smooth densities are known to develop singularities in finite time. For this range we prove the existence for all time of radially symmetric measure solutions that are monotone decreasing as a function of the radius, thus allowing for continuation ...
